North Korea threatens US and South Korea with a preventive nuclear strike

According to media reports North Korea threatens with preventive nuclear strikes to US and South Korea military alignments in case of aggression signs from the latter countries.

“Revolutionary Army of North Korea awaiting for the historic moment to discharge the citadel of war and aggression and free the southern part of the Korean peninsula” – noted in the statement of representative of General Staff of Korean National Army.

Preventive strikes are the counter response of North Korea against the annual mutual military maneuvers of US and South Korea also known as “UlchiFreedomGuardian”. North Korea firmly claims these activities as pre-penetration preparations. Currently 28.5 thousand of American troops are deployed in the south of Korean Peninsula.

Earlier in August North Korea threatened US with deploying its “unknown weapon to the world” in case military trainings of US and South Korea are not cancelled.
